Glenda Michelle Baxter-McDowell, 51, of Springfield, MO passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023. She was born September 27, 1971, to Gary and Delberta Grisham in St. Louis, MO.

Glenda was a bus driver for the Springfield Public School System for 23 years. The kids she transported brought her happiness daily, but her own children were her pride and joy. She was a wonderful mother to Skyler, Samantha and Kylen and she loved them with all of her heart.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kylen; parents, Gary and Delberta; and brother, Greg Grisham.

Glenda is survived by her children, Skyler and Samantha; brother, Grant Grisham; sister-in-law, Tina Grisham; nephews, James and Jesse Grisham; and the many close friends she had made while working for SPS Transportation.
