Obituary

Virginia "Ginger" Rae Lee, 69, of Branson, MO passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023. She was born March 4, 1954, to Leo and Jayne Lee in Tulsa, OK.

Ginger was a natural caregiver and talked about being a nurse from a very early age. She became employed at a nursing home as a CNA and attended the Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Nebraska. She earned her Bachelors in Science and Nursing and worked as an RN for many years. Ginger was not only dedicated to caring for others, but also furthering her own education. Over the years she earned a Coronary Care Nursing Certificate in the Comprehensive Cardiovascular Nursing Course and a Certificate of Achievement from the Lakewood Bible Institute. Along with her passion for helping people in hospitals, home health and assignments as a traveling nurse, she would volunteer at the local churches wherever she was located. She volunteered on many mission trips into Mexico and other stateside reservations. Ginger also earned an award from the International Society of Poets and was recognized for being a "Poet of Merritt."

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Jayne Lee.

She is survived by her siblings, Doug (Brenda) Lee, Bobbie Hill, Donald Ward, Renee (Danny) Cayocca, Alma (Mark) Scrivener, Daniel Ward, Lisa Lee and Brian Scott Lee; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
