George "Bud" William Lentz, 80, of Mt. Vernon, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016. He was born in Kenosha County, WI, October 15, 1935, to Leo and Geraldine Lentz.

He owned and operated Bud's Repair in Bristol, WI, and in Mt Vernon, MO, for 17 years. He also worked for Navistar for nearly 28 years. Bud had a very special talent for fixing anything and loved to do it.

He is survived by his wife, Billie Sue Lentz; six children, Sally Pinkstaff, Tommy Lentz, Larry Lentz, Kathy Lentz, Karen Lentz, and William Ludwig; five grandchildren, Adam Lentz (Hailey), Jonathan Lentz (Marlee), Katy Lentz (Kalecia), Krystal Lentz, and Randi Ludwig (Xander); and four great-grandchildren.

No services are planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield.
