Howard Eugene "Gene" Reynolds, Jr., 86, of Springfield, MO, passed away June 3, 2022. He was born on March 28, 1936, in Doniphan, MO, to Howard and Harriett Reynolds.

The Reynolds' moved to Koshkonong, MO where many fun memories were made with Gene's eight younger siblings. After graduating high school, he shortly thereafter enlisted in the Navy and served for four years. He followed up with Junior College studying Business. He was an Insurance Sales Rep. for fifty years. He loved his family, God, sharing his faith with others, playing the trumpet, playing cards, shooting guns, horseback riding, and going on road trips out west.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Marcus and sister-in-law, Kathy; his niece, Stephanie Dills.

Gene is survived by his wife, Shirley; his children, Robin, Stephen, Howard lll, and Sandra (Eric Morris); his grandchildren, Chris and Evan; his sisters, Leonie (Jim Miller), Laura Coats, Jeannette (Larry Dills), Vera (Dennis Dickman); brothers, Kurtis (Judy), Ron (Betty), Marvin (Shelia); and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full Military honors on June 9, 2022, at 11:00 am.
