Gary Allen Ross, 70, of Nixa, MO, passed away January 11, 2022. He was born November 17, 1951, in Coos Bay, Oregon. He traveled all around the country until 1994 when he settled in Missouri to give his family a stable life and a place to call home.

Gary was a strong man that would accomplish anything that he set his mind to. He was a firm believer in "mind over matter" and believed in the power of mind to make things happen. He believed there was always a way to get things to work and could fix anything. He never gave up.

He never met a stranger and loved to make people smile. No matter what he was facing, he never had a bad day and always said that "Everyday was a good day." Actions always spoke louder than words and he could put a positive spin on anything. Gary would do anything for anybody, but he fiercely protected and loved his family. He sacrificed his life's dream of being a stunt man to become a family man.

An adrenaline junkie that was always ready for the next thrill he was always up for a new adventure. He had many interests, but some of his favorites were horses, motorcycles and firearms. He always said that he'd try anything twice because he may have done it wrong the first time.

Gary was preceded in death by his father and mother, Kenneth and Lola Ross and his brothers, Donald and Vern Ross.

He is survived by his wife, Amber Ross; sons, Tyler Ross (wife Jessica) and Shawn Ross; daughters, Teresa Jablanski (husband Phillip) and Jessica Plumondore (husband Mike); granddaughters, Abigail Jablanski and Elizabeth Ross; and grandsons, Adrien Ross, Shane and Roan Plumondore.
