Garry Wayne Warren, 59, of Springfield passed away unexpectedly on September 28, 2021. He was born on December 12,1961 to Gerald and Patricia Warren in Springfield, Missouri. After school he joined the United States Navy, serving on an aircraft carrier as a Petty Officer Second Class.

Upon returning home he worked in a variety of fields and enjoyed his time doing the things that he loved. He eventually found his passion driving his trash truck which he has continued to do for over 20 years. For the past 11 years he was worked for and planned to retire from Republic Services.

On December 31, 1994, Garry met the love of his life, Diana and went on to have two children. Garry put family first, always. Garry was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of his family.

Garry was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of those he was the closest to and always tried his best to support them.

Garry deeply understood the value of making lasting memories and could often be found with his friends and family playing pool or softball, hunting, fishing, camping, taking a ride on the boat, on a family vacation, or fixing anything that we had broken. Garry was a safe place - the one we all knew we could turn to when we had nowhere else to turn, no matter what.

Anyone who knew Garry knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Garry was preceded in death by his father Gerald Warren and mother Patricia Warren. He is survived by his loving wife Diana Warren, his children Steven, Machelle, and Michael Warren. David and Gabrielle Breesawitz, Cassie Gamache and Jeremy Johnson. His grandchildren Abigail, Noah, and Olivia Warren; Coel, Dominic, and Liam Breesawitz; Sawyer Gamache; one unborn grandchild and unborn great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Garry's honor to The Malinois Ranch Rescue in McKenzie, TN. There will be a celebration of life on October 3, 2021 at 5:00 PM at Just one more in Republic.
