Garry Allan Turner, Sr., 69 of Springfield, MO, passed away Monday, September 7, 2015, after a short battle with cancer. He was born June 14, 1946, in Springfield, MO, to Harry and Velma Turner. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Garry Turner, II. Garry is survived by his children, Sandra Davis and Harry Turner; grandchildren, Zina Davis, Paul Davis, Timothy Smith, Derrick Turner, Jake Turner, Gary Turner III, Christopher Turner, Chanel Coonis, great-grandchildren, Hailey Robinson, Dustin Robinson, Lexus Davis, Allie Robinson, Nora Turner and Lawson Turner; former spouse, Billie Jean Turner; siblings, Vernie Turner, Velma Turner, Larry Turner and Brenda Turner; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm, on Friday, September 11, 2015, at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, 2026 W. Woodland St., Springfield, MO 65807.
