Garry B. Powell, 72, died Sunday, March 10, 2024, in Aurora, MO at his home. He was born January 16, 1952, in Aurora, MO. He was the son of Martin (Jack) and Chloe Powell.

He was married to Wanda Thomas in 1970, and to this union 2 children were born, Alan B. Powell and Travis L. Powell.

He married Patricia Wolivar on June 17, 2008. Garry worked for BCP ingredients of Verona, MO from the age of 17 until his retirement in 2014.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Thomas Powell; his brother, Larry Powell; his parents, Martin Powell and Chloe Powell.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Powell; his sister, Sally Wood; his sons, Alan Powell and Travis Powell; a granddaughter, Jessica Powell; his stepchildren, James Wolivar, David Wolivar and Deborah Hager; and by many nieces, nephews and step grandchildren. He truly enjoyed each and every one of them.

Graveside services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, March 22, 2024, with Reverend John Conn officiating in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora, MO.
