Gail Anne Myers, born December 28 of 1949, in Boise, Idaho, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, September 1, 2022.
She is survived by her children, Tracy Vujcevic and her husband Mark, Shelby Lopez, Aaron Westphal and his wife Heather, and Richard Whited-Myers; brother, Terry Zeiger and his wife Kathy; and many grandchildren and extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joan and Carol Zeiger; sister, Nancy Shelby; and niece, Tammi Wilson.
Gail was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. As a single mother most of her adult life, she worked hard to provide for her family's needs. She had the utmost faith in the Lord, bringing His love to others in everything she did. She instilled her faith in her children, teaching them to trust in Him and never give up hope. Her family feels the sting of loss of her earthly presence but finds peace in His promise of her heavenly home. Her daughter Shelby pays this tribute to her – "She always told me to never let anyone steal my shine."
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith until him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
John 14:1-6
