Frances Fay Durr of Springfield, Missouri, 84 years of age, was surrounded by family and friends when she passed from this life on Earth into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 19, 2023.  Fran was born to Don and Edith Krawitz on September 27, 1938, in Springfield, Missouri.  She longed to be with her husband of 64 years, Ronald Dean Durr and her infant son, Ronald Dean Durr, Jr. who was stillborn 63 years ago. Fran was the oldest of 4 siblings, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Fran loved her family and touched the lives of many.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ron Durr, by one son, Ronald Dean, Jr., and her parents Don and Edith Krawitz.  Fran is survived by one daughter, Melissa Durr Harmon, who lived with her; two sons, Don Allen Durr (Judith) of Dunedin, Florida; Dean Edward Durr (Brenda) of Nixa, Missouri; two sisters, Donna Groves (Lonnie) of Billings, Missouri; Mary Snowbarger of Concordia, Kansas; and one brother, Steve Krawitz (Janet) of Nixa, Missouri; along with 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Life 360 church, 2220 W Chesterfield Blvd, Monday, 09/25/2023 from 5pm to 7pm.

Graveside service will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Dr, Springfield, Missouri, Friday, 9/29/2023 at 11:00 am.
