Faith Christine Benner, 57, of Springfield, MO passed away May 21, 2018. She was born May 8, 1961, in Lewistown, PA to Rev. Park Benner and Florence Benner.

Faith graduated from Morgantown High School in West Virginia, as well as Morgantown Beauty Academy before attending and graduating from Valley Forge Bible College. She taught elementary education for more than 20 years before working for Evangel University in their Public Safety Department for almost 11 years. Faith enjoyed gardening, quilting, and baking with her mother.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Benner; and brother, Rev. David Benner.

Faith is survived by her father, Rev. Park Benner; step-mother, Jackie Sager Benner; sisters, Carol Smith of Morgantown, WV, and Connie Benton and husband Kevin of Springfield, MO; nieces, Michele Benner and Kristin Griser and husband Dan; four nephews, Mark Smith and wife Kristin, Tim Smith and wife Shawna, Matthew Pulcini and wife Nicole, and Tyler Pulcini and wife Haylee; as well as 10 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 5-7 pm in the Seymour Chapel at the Evangel University. Funeral Services will follow the visitation, beginning at 7pm.

A private committal service will be held by the family in the White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
