?Evelyn Norman, 84, of Springfield, MO, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017. Beloved wife of Dennis Norman; and mother of Kayleen Davis and Dennis Norman, Jr. She was a devoted Christian and believed in God as her heavenly Father.

She was born in Winnebago, NE, to Nora and John Graves. She married Dennis Norman in 1965. They resided in Amarillo, TX, and then moved to Independence, MO, and then on to Springfield, MO. She cherished her work in the church of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Restoration Branch). She was head of the ladies department, a book steward, a Sunday school teacher, and worked as a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts. She supported her husband as an Elder in the church, and critiqued every sermon he gave.

She love to laugh and cut-up. Evelyn enjoyed life and making those around her as enthusiastic as she was. She loved to travel to the Hopi Indian Reservation to teach the gospel and made numerous friends.

Her last employment was as an aid on the special needs school bus for the Independence School District. She was loved by all the children she helped.

Her greatest desire was to return to her heavenly Father. She will be greatly missed by everyone she touched.

A memorial service will be held at 3 PM, Monday, June 26, 2017, at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, 2026 W. Woodland St, Springfield.
