Eric Daniel Jones, 35, of Springfield, MO passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023. He was born April 28, 1988, to Daniel Jones and Victoria Smith in St. Petersburg, FL.

Eric loved to golf and fish as a young man. He was golfing and fishing better than most men by the time he was 5. He had a natural talent for sports, writing and pretty much anything else he set his mind to. His smile and laugh were infectious and his sense of humor subtle and sarcastic, but hilarious. He always had a way with the ladies and could sell ice cubes to a snowman. He was charismatic and smarter than most. He loved learning new words most of us have never heard of. His vocabulary lessons were always fun.

Despite the struggles in his life, he never lost his love for his family and those around him. Of all my children his love was the most visible. Sometimes we wonder if our children love us, I never had to wonder about Eric. He made sure those around him knew they were loved. He was especially close to his younger brother, Justin, who looked out for Eric and always made sure he had what he needed.
Eric developed a strong relationship with God in the last 10 years of his life, he spent most of his time reading his Bible, learning about different religions, and talking with God. It helps our hearts to know that he is now walking with his Savior, healthy, happy, and looking out for all of us.

Eric was preceded in death by his biological father, Daniel W. Jones and grandfather, Michel L. Farrar.

He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Victoria Farrar; grandparents, Russell Reed and Denise Allen; grandmother, Sherrell Farrar; brothers, Justin Karp (Elizabeth), Aaron Karp; and sister, Emily Farrar; as well as many other people who will love and miss him.

I love you my little BUNNY BOY, the earth isn't the same without you, but Heaven must be AMAZING!
