Eric Lee Brown went home to be with his Lord on August 6, 2021, in Cox South Hospital after a battle with Lung and Liver cancer.

Eric, better known as "EZ" was born to Richard Lee Brown, Sr. and Bessie Marie McDaniel on May 26, 1963 in Springfield, MO. In 1981, Eric graduated from Central High School and married his high school sweetheart Patricia Mahoney and to that union Michel D'Anthony Brown.was born. Before Eric's illness, he worked at ProTel for over 13 years, where he made lots of close friends. Eric enjoyed playing Texas Hold'em, going to the Casino, shooting pool with friends, watching movies, spending time with his son and grandsons, and most of all watching the Oakland Raiders play football.. Eric considered Covenant of Grace Christian Center his home church.

Eric was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, father Richard L. Brown, Sr., mother Bessie M. Brown, brother Lathan E. McDaniel, and two uncles.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Michel D'Anthony Brown and grandsons Jayden Lyric Brown and Brooklyn Lee Brown, of Springfield, MO, whom he loved more than life itself. He also leaves to celebrate his memory, five brothers & sisters, Victoria Manier, William "Leroy" Brown (Ayondela), Rosetta M. Martin (William), Richard. L Brown, Jr. (Tanya), and Katherine L. Armstrong (Charles), all of Springfield, MO, four aunts, Rosetta Clarida, Clarice Pardlow, Jana Sue Stowers, and Viola Hunt, one uncle, William Brown, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, two special brother-in-laws, Russy and Mark, 6 special friends Patti, Don, Donna, Donnie, Jessie, and Mike, several special high school buddies, and friends, all of whom loved him very much.

Services will be held at Covenant of Grace Christian Center Church of God In Christ, 713 S. Newton, Springfield, MO 65806, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 12:00 p.m.
