It is with the heaviest of hearts that our family announces the passing of our beautiful mom, Enna Guevara. She gave us life and love and left a lasting legacy to those around her.

Enna was born on September 16, 1972, in Marquelia, Guerrero, Mexico. She grew up in a large, loving family and carried on that tradition when she moved to the U.S., cultivating a community of faith and love. Enna was the loving mother of 5 children - Diana, Irvin, Roy, Lucy, and Carlos, and son-in-law, Micah. She was married to her husband, Rogelio Aguila, for many beautiful years. In 2014, Enna became an "Ama" to her first grandchild, Alexander Smith, and enjoyed that role until her very last breath.

Throughout the course of her life Enna was known as an active member of her church, always lending a hand and helping others in need. Enna had a passion for cooking, gardening, dancing, and celebrating with those she loved.  Enna and Rogelio worked hard to provide for their children and their family back home, while living humble and happy lives. Enna passed away on April 29, 2023, at the time of 12:34 p.m., surrounded by family and friends as she joined God in her forever home.

Enna is survived by her husband, children, and grandson, as well as her father and 5 siblings. She is preceded in passing by her mother and her brother.

In honor of Enna's wishes, as a family we are planning services and a celebration of life to carry on her heart for bringing everyone together. The services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 1609 N. Summit Ave. in Springfield, MO on Friday, May 5, 2023. There will be a viewing from 2:00-4:00, mass from 4:00-5:00, followed by a reception at 5:00 p.m.
