Elliot James Bott, 59, Lebanon, MO passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022. He was born April 19, 1963, to Watson and Flora Bott in Pompton Plains, NJ.

Elliot was born and raised in the state of NJ where he attended Somerset Vocational Technical Institute. He later got his certification for Machinist Technician from the same institute. As a young adult Elliot could often be found at Flemington Speedway, in a garage or under a shady tree with his hands diligently working on a classic engine. He truly had a passion for machines, their operation, and often took things apart to see how they worked. He never had to be told twice how to fix something and he took much pride in that ability. As a young adult, Elliot served in the United States Navy as an Aircraft Technician. Elliot lived in Pennsylvania for a time prior to moving to Missouri where he had various jobs working in mechanic shops. In Missouri, Elliot ran a freelance mechanic shop where he would repair a variety of vehicles but mostly constructing motorized bicycles. Elliot loved to travel. His most memorable adventures came from his journey to Holland to spend time with his long-time life partner Monique.

Elliot is survived by his two sons, Nathan and Caleb; His mother and father, Flora and Watson Bott; Sisters Wanda and Louise; and a slew of nieces and nephews, loved ones and friends.
