Elizabeth Caroline Parker, 85, of Springfield, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016. She was born April 9, 1931, in Boston, MA, to Charles and Viola Nadeau.

She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and baking cookies for her family. But most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Sharon Nilius and Thomas "Chip" Nilius; and four siblings.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 60 years, Chase Parker; children, Chase Parker III, Christie Mann, Penny Capps; eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; brother, Charles Nadeau; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Springfield Humane Society.
