Edward "Ed" Leslie Krause, 80, of Greenfield, MO passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025. He was born April 20, 1945, to Leslie "Atwood" Krause and Edith Pierce in Richmond, CA.

Edward was married to Donna (Baker) on January 26th1968; they were married 49 years.

A man of many trades, with HVAC being his favorite. Edward was known for his generous spirit and unwavering willingness to lend a helping hand. He had a passion for life's simple pleasures—especially the thrill of slot machines and the love of his family. He always found a way to bring a smile to those around him. His resourcefulness, warmth, and giving nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Atwood Krause and Edith Pierce; his siblings Peggy McMillian, Reba Davis, and Howard Thornton; his beloved wife, Donna (Baker) Krause; his daughter, Shellee Watkins; his grandchildren Jesse and Grayson; and his great-grandchildren Anthony and Jeremiah.

He is survived by his sister, Vivian Clower; his children, Shawn Krause, Edwenna Hosking, and Jessica Krause; his grandchildren Shawna, Airel, Dawndai, Mattisyn, Makynna, Skylar, Zailey, Zariyah, Levi, Gavin, Swayde, Kenneth, and Joshua; and his great-grandchildren Tayden, Abby, and Leeym. He was deeply proud of his family and cherished every moment spent with them.

A celebration of Edward's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share stories of the man who gave so much of himself to others.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
