Edith June Mendenhall, 90, of Springfield, MO, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019. She was born November 10, 1928, in Wichita, KS, to Elmer and Mildred Grover.

She loved dancing, singing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also cherished her time spent with her church family.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mildred; brother, Elmer Grover; husband, Newel Mendenhall; and sister-in-law, Patricia Grover.

She is survived by her two daughters, Rosana Terrill and husband Derald, and Judith Laughinghouse and husband Richard; siblings, Beulah Paxson and husband Harry, Glenn Grover and wife Nancy, Frederick Grover, and Patricia Riddle and husband Francis; 30 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; 21 great great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

A celebration of Edith's life will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, February 16, 2019, in the Trinity Pentecostal Church of God, 530 S Miller Road, Springfield, MO. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday July 13, 2019, in the Waco Cemetery, Waco, Kansas.
