On Friday, August 18th, 2017; Leroy succumbed to the effects of his various illnesses and passed on from this life to be with our Lord. Leroy was dearly loved by Paula, his wife of 30 years; children, Brenda (Roy), Janice (Kevin), Brian (Lisa); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several loyal and caring friends and neighbors.

Leroy lived his life with a song in his heart and shared that music through singing and playing his guitar collection. Our loving Papa will be missed. He is now at peace and has joined his family that has preceded him in death.

His life will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:00 am, in the Chapel at Elfindale Mansion, 1701 S Fort Ave, Springfield, MO 65807.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Paula to contribute to his monument.
