Edward Lee Dye was born November 2, 1963, in Poplar Bluff, MO to Willie B. Dye and Ida Mae Dye.

Eddie liked to fish and hunt. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was the life of the party. Everyone knew they could call and count on him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie B. Dye and Ida Mae Dye; his girlfriend, Jeweal Humphrey; two sisters, Betty Jean Dye and Rosa Lee Hunter; a nephew, Garreth Dye; and two great nephews, Danny R Higgs and Darice Dye.

Eddie is survived by one sister, Rutha Mae Dye; five brothers, George, Henry, Preston, Jimmy and Willie.

Special thanks to his great nieces, Gariann and Chassidy; nieces, Cynthia and Shella; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 30, 2023, at 11:00 am, at Eastlawn Cemetery, 2244 E Pythian Street, Springfield, MO 65802.
