Estale "Dwayne" Hartin

August 25, 1947 – January 22, 2024

Dwayne left this earthly world to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, January 22nd at 9:25 PM at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.

Dwayne is survived by daughters, Leona Pomales and Monterey Hartin and sons, Scott, Dwayne Jr. and Dalphie Hartin. Dwayne's surviving brothers and sisters are Judy Hartin, Janet Rio, Cathy Brush, Jim Fanning and Eric Hartin. He was preceded in death by his father, Dalphie and mother, Ima (Calhoun) Hartin; sister, Leona Hartin; brothers, Darrel and David Hartin and son, Matthew Hartin. He was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Dwayne was a graduate of Aurora High School and received the Award of The Army Commendation Medal for Heroism with Valor during his service in Viet Nam at the rank of Sergeant.

In the years following his military service, Dwayne was a strong and hard-working employee of various businesses in Southwest Missouri which included EFCO Corporation and Alpine Wood Products.

The family would like to thank his loyal friends Linda and Thomas Hines for their loving care they gave during the last years of his life. The family also greatly appreciates the compassion and friendship of Alison and her daughter Kate in his last months.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
