Douglas Clement, age 57, went to be with the Lord on October 13th, 2024. He was born December 26, 1966, to Ervin and Roselee Clement in Springfield, MO.

As a child, he and his sister, Melissa Birdsong, would play at Tom Watkins Park. They went to church a lot as children, they went to youth groups and to hang outs with the neighbor kids. He was quite a handful as a young child. When he was older, he enjoyed bowling and skating. Doug met his wife, Regina Maze, at age 21. They married and 9 months later welcomed their daughter, Darnella McDowell. Five years after that they had twins, Kaleb and Kayla Clement.

Over the years he was a paramedic, a volunteer firefighter and a lifeguard, but his true passion was working as an electrician with his son and son-in-law, Douglas Kellogg. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and outdoor activities with his families.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Clement; his parents Ervin and Roselee Clement; grandparents, Gulfa Tindel, Edward Tindel, Esther Clement, and Herbert Clement, and seven aunts on his mom's side.

Doug is survived by his sister, Melissa Birdsong; children, Darnella McDowell, Kayla Kellogg and Kaleb Clement; grandchildren, Jacolby, Aireona, and Brylynn McDowell, Zoey, James, Mia, and Benjamin Kellogg, Ryder and Ember and two on the way, both due in April; two sons-in-law, Douglas Kellogg and DJ McDowell; one daughter-in-law, Brittany Burleson; and many friends and family.

A Visitation will be held at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, 2026 W Woodland St, Springfield, MO, Friday, October 25th, 2024 from 5 to 7 pm.
