Dorothy (Dole) Clark, 100, of Walnut Grove, MO, formally of Cromwell, CT, passed away Monday, May 26 after a short illness, in the Parkview Care Facility, Bolivar, MO. Born in Cleveland, OH she was the daughter of Bert and Blanche Dole. She was predeceased by her husband, Vernon S. Clark; parents; and four brothers. Her surviving sister, Marion, lives in Euclid, OH. Dorothy Clark moved to Durham, CT in 1947 with her husband Vernon and after the birth of a daughter, Dorothy, the family moved to Cromwell in 1954 where she remained with support from her daughter until 2008. She was active at the First Congregational Church in the Woman's Federation and also was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. In 2008, she moved to MO with her daughter and son-in-law with whom she lived until two weeks before her demise. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Paul Salters, Walnut Grove, MO. A private funeral service will be held in Missouri.
