Donna Lynn Burns at the age of 69, passed away on June 21, 2022. She was born on August 17, 1952, in Millington, Tennesse, to Claire and Bill Astin.

Donna married her high school sweetheart Bill Burns on August 24, 1972. Both, Donna and Bill shared 49 years of marriage together. Donna started off as a stay-at-home military wife, then worked as a tax professional at H&R Block and later she retired as a Contracting Officer for the FFA. Donna also enjoyed several outreach programs including helping disadvantaged women in our community. Donna enjoyed spending her time with the Lord, her church family, and especially with her Christian Women Groups doing various activities. Donna loved reading, bowling, and watching sports with the family and she enjoyed many forms of art, whether it was cooking, drawing, or coloring. Donna loved relationships and particularly spending time with her family.

Donna was greeted into the Lords embrace by her mother and youngest daughter that preceded her in death. She is survived with the legacy of those relationships closest to her: Donna's husband, Bill Burns; her oldest child, William Burns; and her two daughters, Joylynn Burns and Anna Burns; 4 grandchildren, and many more nephews and nieces. Donna is also survived by her sisters, Darla Watkins, Debbie Astin, and Delana Mclaughlin; and her father, Bill Astin.

Donna's greatest legacy is that she will remain in our hearts.
