Donna was born in Charleston, South Carolina on July 26, 1954, to Harry Gasque Boineau and Clara June (Frazier) Boineau. Donna was second of four siblings.

On June 8th, 2016, Donna left this world peacefully with her three children, Micheal Mitchell and his wife Dawna; Brandon Brooke and his wife Cristina; and Ashley Brooke by her side.

Donna grew up in the small town of Adams Run, South Carolina, where she enjoyed the beach life, writing poetry and drawing. While growing up she was a live mannequin for the local mall and just like her daddy, she loved driving fast Fords down country roads. She loved collecting sea shells and driftwood from the beach, along with lions, tigers and pretty much any large cat. Donna was a Leo and anyone that knew her knew that she truly was the Queen Lioness.

She is survived by her children; brothers, Buddy and Charles, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dianne Nye; and her parents.
