Obituary

Donald Wayne "Hutch" Hutchins, age 70, of Seymour, MO, went home to be with the lord, with his family by his side on Saturday, June 20, 2015. He was born April 6, 1945, in Marshfield, MO. He graduated from Fordland High School in 1963 and was united in marriage to Aletta Kay Fox on June 29, 1979. He retired from Hutchens Industries in May of 2011 after 43 years of service. He was of the Southern Baptist faith and a member of the Hazelwood Masonic Lodge No. 459. He loved to fish, hunt and tinker with his lawn mowers. He loved spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren. He was lovingly known for his ornery sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Buck Hutchins and Goldie Pearl (Miller) Hutchins; brother, Bud Hutchins; sister, Barbara Yates; nephew, Junior Hutchins; mother-in-law, Odetta Mae Fox. Donald is survived by his loving wife Aletta, of the home; daughters, Dawn Murphy and husband Michael, Shelia Hoggatt and husband Tommy, and Sherri Hennigh, all of Seymour, MO; son, David L. Hennigh and wife Angie of Cedar Creek, MO; grandchildren, Owen Murphy, Derek Hennigh, Shannon Dobbs, Allison West and their spouses; great-granddaughter, Gracie West; sisters, Shirley Henderson of Fair Play, MO, Betty Cockrum of Jefferson City, MO and Janie Coursey; brothers, Bob Hutchins of Fordland, MO and Bill Hutchins of Springfield, MO; sisters-in-law, Minnie Hutchins of Springfield, MO and Susie Haynes and husband Horace of Seymour, MO; brothers-in-law, Donnie Fox and wife Pat of Ozark, MO and Ronnie Fox and wife Tina of Seymour, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. As a final act of love and generosity, Hutch, was a "Donor of Life" through eye and tissue donation. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 29, 2015, at 2:00 pm in the First Baptist Church of Seymour under the direction of Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield. With inurnment to follow in the Seymour Masonic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Seymour Library or Seymour First Baptist Church.
