Donald Eugene Ward, 78, of Osceola, MO, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015. Don was born August 10, 1936, in Marshfield, MO, to Charles Lee and Rutha Clemens Ward. After high school, he joined the Navy in 1957. While in the Navy he traveled the world and later retired after many years of service to our country. Don was a true outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish. He will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his son Randy Ward and wife Bridget of Osceloa, MO; three grandchildren, Josh, Justin and Ashley Ward; and one great-granddaughter, Taylor Ward. Don was preceded in death by his son, Scotty Lee Ward; his parents; and all 6 of his siblings. The family will hold a private memorial services at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield.
