Donald Donnie Ray Carter, 54, Mt. Vernon, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014. He was born December 8, 1959, in Springfield, MO. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert A. Davis; mother, Marilyn Carter; siblings, Carolyn, Connie, and Billy; and one niece, Tracy Sudcliff. Donnie is survived by his loving wife, Rita Carter of Mt. Vernon; daughters, Georgia Clinton of Sheraton, CA, and Samantha Lippe and husband Aaron of Blue Eye, MO; seven grandsons and two granddaughters; sister, Kay Sudcliff of Marionville, MO; brothers, Jim Carter of Aurora, MO, and Ronnie Carter of MI. A celebration of Donnie s life will be held at 2 pm, Saturday June 14, 2014, in the Faithful Gospel Church, Aurora, MO. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield.
