Donald Earl Bishop, 72, of Springfield, MO, formerly of the Sedalia, MO, area, passed away peacefully September 11, 2017. He was born in Boonville, MO, September 10, 1945, to Elvin and Florence Bishop.

He was a cantankerous old fart who loved to hunt, fish and gamble.

He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved son, Michael Bishop; and various family members.

Donald is survived by his wife, Velma (Esser) Bishop; son, Donald Bishop and his wife Jeri; and grandsons, Alex and Dalton Bishop.

Family and friends are invited to a pot-luck lunch at 1 PM, Saturday, September 23, 2017, in Sedalia, MO, at Liberty Park, Shelter #3, with full Military Honors given at 1:30 PM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield, MO.
