Dixie Diane Carruthers' Obituary
Dixie Diane Carruthers, 76, of Nixa, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023. She was born January 25, 1947, in Des Moines, IA, to Bernard and Vivian Stilwell.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Kayleen (Coram) Condon; her parents, Bernard and Vivian Stilwell; and her brother, Jerry Stilwell.
Dixie is survived by 2 children, Thomas Robert Coram Jr and Charles David Coram; her grandchildren, Devin Ferry (Heather), William Freeman (Heather), Addison Coram (Charles), Mercedes Coram (Charles), Olivia Coram (Charles) and Kaleb Robert William Coram (Thomas); her sister, Karen Fitzgerald and husband Joe; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and loved ones.
Dixie was a giver by nature. She earned her BSN and worked at Cox South in Springfield, MO for over 30 years. Many thought of her as a sister, mom, grandma, aunt or friend.
To know Dixie was to love her.
Services are to be held at a later date in Lovilla, Iowa.
