Diana L Burhans passed away in her home on May the 6th, 2017, in Springfield, Missouri. Diane was born February 1st, 1949, in Canton, Illinois to Joanne Myers and Karl Thomas.
She was preceded in death by Joanne Myers (mother); Karl Thomas (father); Stephen Thomas (brother); Terry Thomas (brother) and Stephen Lyons (son).
She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Ronnie Thomas, Connie Rogers, Chrissy Smith and Cindy Hickman. She is slso survived by her children Michelle Jorgensen, Wendell Covert and Christel Covert-Sparks; and 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Diane was cremated at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield. Visitation will be in Canton, Illinois, at Oak-Hines funeral home, Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 2-5 pm.
