Dennis Ray Thomas Sr., 76, was born September 10, 1947 in Lebanon, MO to Albert and Laura (Barr) Thomas and passed away April 18, 2024 in Springfield, MO. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Charles Thomas; brothers-in- law, Kenneth Lindsay and Terry Lindsay; sister-in-law, Marsha Lindsay.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 57 years, Darlene (Lindsay); his children, Tammy (Craig) Reeves, Dennis Thomas Jr. and Gregory Thomas; his grandchildren, Talissa (Taylor) Lietzke, Lindsay (Kyle) Sheets, Timothy (Merissa) Taylor, Allie Thomas, Joseph Thomas; his great grandchildren, Kylin, Relayna, Karsyn, Taylor Jr, Hunter, Luke, Oliver, Maximus, Henry, Cooper and Leonidas; his brothers, Leonard Thomas and Jerry Thomas; sister-in-law, Pauline Thomas; his wife's family, Gerald Lindsay, Oral (Carol) Lindsay, Linda (Donnie) Daniels, Anna (Leon) Burns, Kathy (Victor) Hentzen, Gary (Donna) Lindsay, Cindy (David) Bishop.

Dennis was known as Denny or Tator to his family and friends. He drove a truck for over 60 years. He was the rock of the family and enjoyed loading up and taking his great grandkids to school. His family was his world and he theirs. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled.
