Dennis Ray Dickey, 80, of Willard, MO passed away Friday, January 12, 2024. He was born July 9, 1943, to Edwin and Elva Dickey in Springfield, MO.

Dennis enjoyed his time working at PFI Western Wear. He was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and hardly ever missed a game. He raised and rode Missouri Fox Trotters and loved to go trail riding and camping. His family described him as ornery, a talker and The King of the Southern Goodbye.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Julie Hoffstatter; his brother, Edwin Dickey; and his brother-in-law, Kenneth Shaw.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children, Kimberly Lannan and husband Charles, LaShelle McKeown and husband Shane, Stacie McGurie and husband Michael, Amanda Ryker and husband Lonnie, Andrea Jean and husband Stephen; stepsons, Kenric Fulks and wife Christina, Kevin Fulks and wife Susan; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; his sister, Carol Shaw, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to Redeemer Lutheran Church or a horse rescue of the donor's choice.

Services to be held on Saturday, February 3, at 1 PM, Redeemer Lutheran Church, Springfield, MO.
