Dennis Jordan Blake, 78, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away on June 30, 2025.  He was born on October 27, 1946, to Vernon and Constance Blake in Ironton, Missouri.

Dennis is survived by his wife Cindy and two sons, Micah and Jacob.  Micah is married to Jessica, and they have two daughters, Emrie and Maven. Jacob is married to Lori and has a son, Jonah.

Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Constance and his father, Vernon.

Dennis was raised in Ellington, Missouri, where he lived until he entered the United States Army.  After two years of service, he moved to Centralia, Illinois, and met and married Cindy Cantrell. He then spent a number of years working for Burlington Northern Railroad and Illinois Power Company. For the past 35 years he was the owner of Dennis Blake Properties.

Over the years, he enjoyed playing golf, fishing, hunting, following Missouri State Lady Bears' basketball, running John boats on the Current River, and watching his grandkids enjoy the swimming pool.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at the home of Dennis and Cindy on Saturday July 19, 2025, from 12:00 until 2:00pm.
