Denise Rena Morris (Woods), age 51, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO, on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, of a chronic lung disease. Denise was born December 21, 1963, in Springfield, MO, to Amanda Woods and Tom Newberry. Survivors include her husband, Dennis Morris; their daughter, Melissa Mayner and her husband Joseph; grandchildren, Mariah Rojas, Aaliyah Mayner and Lacy Mayner; sister, Debra Baldwin and husband, all of Springfield, MO, along with several nieces and nephews. Denise was preceded in death by her mother, Amanda Newberry; father, Tom Newberry, sister, Christy Dudley; and brother, George Woods. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM, Friday, June 19, 2015, in the Selmore Cemetery, Ozark, MO. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield.
