Delores Ann Burns, 59, of Springfield, MO, passed away October 4, 2018. She was born September 10, 1959, in Belle Fourche, SD, to Clarabelle and Ernest Carter.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph & Evelyn Mills and Lawrence & Lula Carter; two uncles, Reynard and Raleigh Mills; a cousin, Lawrence R. Carter; and father, Ernest Carter.

Delores was always a tomboy and her daddy always had her working on cars. She could hold her own with her brothers and never cared for the housework. She is survived by her mother, Clarabelle Carter; one daughter, Kristine Williams; a son, Danny R. May; a sister, Connie Ducker, Melissa Hood; and two brothers, Ge ne Carter and Glenn Carter; and a very close friend, Sharon.

The family will gather at 6 PM, Friday October 12, 2018, at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, 2026 W Woodland St, to receive friends and share stories of Delores.
