Debra Kaye Childers, 58, of Springfield, MO, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 4, 2024. She was born May 18, 1965, to Ronald and Leona Hudnall in Oronogo, MO.

Debra was one of a kind. She had a big heart but an even bigger personality. She was witty and could make anyone laugh. She spent many years as the office manager for her husband's pest control business. In her spare time, you could find her relaxing with her puppies watching Food
Network or a reality show no doubt with a Dr Pepper in her hand. She sure loved cooking and trying new foods. She always wanted someone to bring her a casserole. She never got rid of anything she was given (even if she really needed to) because it meant something to her. She took pride in her children but especially her grandchildren. She will be missed beyond measure. She was a true believer in our Lord and Savior Jesus and prayed for everyone she loved. We take comfort in knowing one day we will see her again.

She was preceded in death by both parents Ronald and Leona Hudnall. Brothers John Sweed and Clifford Hudnall.

Debra is survived by her husband Jeffrey L. Childers of Springfield Mo. Her sons Anthony (TJ) Childers of Buffalo Mo and Bobby Childers Springfield Mo. Her daughter and son-in-law Angel and Buck Osborn of Springfield Mo. Her grandsons Brett and Bryce Osborn. Her granddaughters Hailey and Kylee Childers. Her Brother Clinton Hudnall. Several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
