David Tucker, 68, of Aurora, MO, was born October 8, 1947. On March 19 th , 2016, David passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. He was dearly loved and will be profoundly missed by his wife of 40 years, Lonna Tucker, and his children, Sara, Keli, and Dhruv Tucker. David was also a devoted brother to Jim, Don, and Leesa Tucker, and an affectionate grandfather to Kiera, Zoë, and William Hodo. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Geraldine Tucker and father, Harold Tucker.

At David's request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please hold your loved ones close while you can.

Daddy, we're so sorry this had to happen, but we are thankful we were together in this life and glad we were able to take care of and be near you in your final weeks. We will miss your kindness, your laughter, and your hugs, but we know you will live on – not just in our hearts and thoughts and the blue of our eyes, but also in our philosophies. You taught us to root for the underdog, to care for creatures smaller than ourselves, and to turn off the dang light when we leave a room. Our love for you has never, ever faltered, and though you are gone, it will not fade. We love you, Daddy.
