David Leroy Presley, 74, of Springfield, MO passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022. He was born May 31, 1948, to Arvis and Dorothy Presley in Alton, MO.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Arvis and Dorothy Presley; a daughter, Venus Presley; a son, David Presley; and a brother, Don Presley.

David lived a very remarkable life with the many interests ranging in sports like baseball, boxing, basketball, fishing, to the variety in jobs like transporting dangerous materials to cruise directing in job sites of different companies, Most people knew him as truck driver, a Meeks cruise director, and a strong leader in everything he was involved with. He wasn't known for subtlety, but known for his brutal honesty, and his temperament. He was also known for his love for competition, and wining at everything which was no problem for him. David was the type that strongly believed in actions speak louder than words, and even if he didn't portray emotions, he was the type that would have your back and somehow provide a way to give you strength to overcome the hardest things in life.  His family was the most important thing and did everything with them in mind, and a force not to mess with when it came to them. David was an artist, a hard worker, a perfectionist, a fighter, and there was nothing he could not do.

David fought a tough disease and survived by his wife Dawn Presley, daughters: Erica Presley, Tawnya Presley, Chantel Weber, and April sons: Samuel Presley, Austin Presley, Tim Crouch, Daniel Presley. Sisters: Ruthann Hayden, Ruby Davis, Evelyn Vanlandingham, brother: Kenneth Presley, and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family will be doing David's Celebration of Life Wednesday November 16th at 4:00pm to 8:00:pm at the Fire House Community in Springfield, MO.
