David Noell Deason was born November 21, 1957, in Farmington, New Mexico, and lived in several states throughout his life, before moving to Springfield, Missouri in 2021 to be of help to his mother. He passed away March 28, 2024, in Springfield.

David accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 7 and was then baptized at the Central Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas. David was a kind and good-hearted man, a gentle spirit, and made friends easily because of his great empathy with other people. He liked to tell about the many times and ways God had provided for his immediate need. He worked hard at many jobs and overcame many trials and hardships in his life. David liked helping other people, and he loved building things. He was happiest with a pile of lumber, his tools, and any new building project.

David was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Deason. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Goodman, of Springfield, and his brothers Scott Deason and Daniel Deason and his sister, Lori Crowson, all of Pottsboro, Texas. He had no children.
