Dava Richardson was born September 29, 1959, under the name of Charles David Richardson. She passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2022. Dava was a free spirit and enjoyed seeing as much of the United States as she possibly could. Even for a time she drove trucks for Prime and saw every state of the lower 48 at least once.

Dave transitioned from male to female in the early 90s. She had a great sense of humor and many of her friends can recall how she made them laugh.

Dava is survived by brother, Floyd (Flora) Richardson of Cambridge, MA; sister, Dora Clardy of Florence, SC; sister, Rita Madison of Rapid City, SD; and sister, Melody Edwards of Allen, TX; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her cremated ashes will be spread at Joshua Tree National Park as per her wishes.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
