Darrell "Bubba" Eugene Bradley of Republic, MO passed away Friday March 2, 2018, at Manor Care in Springfield, MO at the age of 79. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight Bradley and Opal (Andrews) Bradley.
Darrell's early years were spent on a farm in near Jasper, MO where he raised and showed registered jersey. He graduated Jasper High School class of 1956. He attended NEO, SMS Cape Girardeau where he managed the college farm and finished up his education as a proud Cowboy at OSU in Stillwater, Ok.
Darrell worked as a Livestock Order Buyer starting at an early age and filling his last order in December 2016. He owned Southwest Cattle Company for over 50 years.
He was a successful quarter horse breeder and show judge. He was most proud of his favorite gray halter horse Jackie that won the World.
Darrell loved to trade antique pocket knives and advertising. He served on the NKCA board and the THCCK board. In his capacity as the Chairman of the Springfield, MO NKCA Knife Show he brought collectors and dealers together from all over the US.
He leaves behind Peggy King and a whole host of family.
A celebration of life for Darrell will be March 17, from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at the Springfield Livestock Marketing Center. There will be no formal service but an opportunity to share a story.
