Darla Jeanne King, 73, of Springfield, MO, passed away January 20, 2021, at home surrounded by her three daughters. She was born July 16, 1947, in Pierre, SD, to Alfred and Florence Hall.

She was a longtime resident of Cabool, MO, before her and her husband, George, moved to Springfield, MO.

Darla loved writing inspirational letters and cards to brighten others' lives. She brought so much joy to those around her. She also loved to talk about Jehovah and share this with everyone.

She was preceded in death by her husband George King; parents and little brother, Larry Hall.

Darla is survived by her children, Tammy Henry and husband Brett, Rebecca Smith-Hines and husband John, and Laura Betherum; grandchildren, Allison, Audra, George, Alisha and Emily; great-grandkids, Ella, Tylyn, George, Benjamin, Melody and Ezekiel; siblings, Casey, Sherry and Johnny; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
