Darius Curtis Padgett II, 35, of Stockton, MO, passed away March 21, 2020 as a result of injuries sustained in a tragic accident on Friday, the 13th of March, 2020. He was born August 24, 1984, in Springfield, MO, to Douglas Padgett and Deborah McMahon.

Darius was an intelligent, unique individual. He enjoyed music, reading, history and philosophy. He was at his happiest when he served in the Army. He always wanted to help people and that is how we will remember him, a happy and helpful, loved person.

Darius was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather; Darius Curtis Padgett [1989] and Rose Marie Padgett(Clemens) [2007]; and Charles Patrick McMahon [1965].

He is survived by his daughter, Juliana Raquel Williams, age 7; father, Douglas Padgett of Springfield, Oregon; mother, Deborah McMahon of Stockton, MO; sister, Lacey Padgett of Springfield, MO; half-brother, Jacob Chastain; maternal grandparents, William Taylor and Evelyn Phyllis Smith (Ming); and 2 nieces, several aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.

In order to maintain the health and safety of family and friends during the current COVID19 pandemic, we have chosen to do the visitation virtually. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, when we can have everyone together safely again.
