Daniel Joseph Stehle, 72, of Springfield, MO, passed away September 15, 2020. He was born November 17, 1947, in Mansfield, OH, to Daniel and Charlotte Stehle. He graduated from Mansfield High School in Mansfield, OH and went on to play football for Kirksville and Indiana State. Dan served in the United States Army in Vietnam. He was a proud veteran that loved his country.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Charlia Graham and Kay Wagner.

Dan is survived by his wife, Vera Sue Stehle; sons, Fredrick J. Ritzendollar and Paul W. Ritzendollar; sister, Becky Polburn; five granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 2 great-granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 am, Friday, September 25, 2020, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Vietnam Veterans Associations, National Chapter.
