DANIEL GERARD LANG

Daniel Gerard Lang, 62, of Springfield, MO passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. He was born on August 29, 1961, to Louis and Dorothy Lang in Chicago, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Brenda Ann Lang.

Danny is survived by his four siblings, brother, William Lang, sisters, Marian Lang, Geralyn Herrmann and husband Mike, Michelle Moffett and husband Jeff; and nephews Travis Lang, Forrest Herrmann, fiancée Gianna Jarrett, nieces, Kelsey Delgado, husband Esteban, River Delgado, Kayla Moffett, Maddison Moffett, extended family members, friends and loved ones.

Danny enjoyed cooking, won cheese tasting contests, Chili cook off contests and baking all different flavors of cheesecakes to be shared with co-workers and friends. He also enjoyed creating dishes for the potluck lunches that were held at work. Over the years, Danny even baked a few of our family favorites, New England donuts, Pogacha with raisins, Bohemian Braids, and the famous pinwheel cookies.

Danny's free time was spent with his love of art and music. Our dear brother enjoyed creating special art masterpieces for both family and friends, each unique in style for the lucky person who would be the recipient of such a gift.

Danny always had a joke for you and a wonderful sense of humor, which will be sorely missed. Danny possessed an infectious laugh and a beautiful smile that will be remembered by all that were blessed to know him.
