Daniel (Dan) H Franklin, 66, of Battlefield, MO, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017.  He was born February 11, 1951, in Pontiac, MI, to Cecil and Helen Franklin. Dan enjoyed life and encouraged friends and family to do the same. He always had a suggestion of a game to play, a place to visit, or a recipe to try!

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Cecil; mother, Helen; brother, Leroy; and first wife, Missy Franklin.

He is survived by his wife and companion of 28 years, Jill Franklin; children: Chad (Tonya) Franklin, Jason Franklin, Alan (Sue) Kirby, and Lisa (John) Moore; and grandchildren, Nicky Franklin, Chandler Franklin, Teddy Kirby, Morgan Lammey, Jake Lammey.

Dan was loved by many and will be missed.

A celebration of Daniel's life will be held at 10 am, Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, 2026 West Woodland St., Springfield, MO.
