Damon James Dumond, 37, of Springfield, MO, passed away January 27, 2021. He was born March 10, 1983, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Damon and Karen.

Damon attended Neosho High school where he played Wildcat football. He was a manager over the fish department at Petland in Joplin, MO as well as Springfield where he resided. Damon played guitar and loved music as well as people.

Damon was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Polly and Fred Sanders of Neosho, MO.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Damon and Valerie Dumond; mother and stepfather, Karen and Terry Moss of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Jake Dumond and Christina Scott of Joplin, MO; paternal grandparents, Jim and Dawn Dumond; and many aunts, uncles, niece and nephews, and cousins, as well as a host of Friends.

Memorial service at Union Chapel Church, 457 Bulldog Ln., Stella, MO, 1 pm, Saturday, February 6th.
