Dale Eugene Goodwin, 60, of Springfield, MO, passed away February 22, 2021. He was born December 24, 1960, to John and Mary Goodwin in Springfield, MO. Dale attended Hillcrest High School and was class of 1979.

He started out lumping trucks at Associated Wholesale Grocers before moving inside the warehouse as an order filler and becoming a Teamster where he worked for many years.

Although Dale was very charming and good looking, he never married. He enjoyed gardening, mowing and cooking on the grill for his family and friends. He spent several years living in Marshfield, MO, until moving back to Springfield for good.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Goodwin; his son, Connor Goodwin; four sisters, Robin, Sue and Sally Goodwin, and Linda Davis; ten brothers, Ricky, Lloyd, Ned, John, Bill, Jerry and Don Goodwin, and Jimmy, Coy and Larry Davis.

Dale is survived by two sisters, Patty Keltner and Sissy Goodwin; two brothers, Steven and Harley Goodwin; loving daughter, Heather Nicole; and he is an uncle to over 35 nieces and nephews and too many great nieces and nephews to count.

He was one of a kind, a great brother, uncle and dad and he will be missed.

A celebration of life visitation will be held from 12-2 PM, Saturday, February 27, at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, 2026 W. Woodland St, Springfield, MO. Masks are required.
